Sti Anthem

*From the pigpens of Manhattan
Where birds from fear don’t fly
Came the mob without direction
Hail oh Pigma Sti

May your glory never dampen
Your deeds, they never die.
And to the frats who can’t explain us
Forever to ask why.

Oh Pigma Sti, oh Pigma Sti
We love you oh so dear
With members such as these,
You have nothing but to fear.

Oh Pigma Sti, oh Pigma Sti
Your teachings will spread far
The only trouble is—
We don’t know what they are.

And when we leave our dear old campus
We’ll raise our banner high
For no other group can claim less honor
Than you oh Pigma Sti

And where we go we’ll teach our brothers
The deeds that we have done
And by the time that we have grandsons
We may have accomplished one.

Oh Pigma Sti, oh Pigma Sti
We love you oh so dear
With members such as these,
You have nothing but to fear.

Oh Pigma Sti, oh Pigma Sti
Your teachings will spread far
The only trouble is—
We don’t know what they are.

Greetings Sti Brothers / Friend of the Sti…

Here’s a deed to tell your grandson(s) about…your contribution to the endowed Pigma Sti Engineering Scholarship fund. With it, you can provide students needed financial support and be a part of a perpetual legacy recognizing the infamous organization of Pigma Sti at Kansas State University.

Sometime around the turn of the century, a couple representatives from the K-State Foundation visited us to say “thanks” for our support of K-State through the years. Materials they left wish us started us thinking about setting up an endowed scholarship fund. With our contribution and added matching employer funds, the endowment was established in 2000. Our plan was (and continues to be) to contribute to it annually and to encourage others to consider making contributions also.

As the initial contributors to the endowed fund, we choose the name—The Pigma Sti Engineering Scholarship—and the requirements for distribution of annual scholarship(s). The scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the College of Engineering with a preference given to dormitory dwelling students.

Once established, the KSU Foundation performs all administrative duties related to the fund. The establishment of this fund provides continuous recognition for Pigma Sti and much needed support for deserving students.

We have great memories from our time at Kansas State University—particularly from our friends and activities associated with our independent men’s social service organization of Pigma Sti.

If, because of conflicting degrees or areas of study, you can’t bring yourself to contribute to an engineering scholarship, I suggest that you consider setting up another scholarship fund for your specialty (i.e., The Pigma Sti Architectural Scholarship, The Pigma Sti Art Scholarship, etc. etc.).

In any case, we can help some students financially and keep the Pigma Sti name in places where you wouldn’t expect to find it.

If you feel so inspired, the KSU Foundation information is listed above and on the
donation form.

Thanks for your consideration!

Yours in the Sti…
